Description
The construction industry has changed substantially since 1983, but no substantial amendments have been made to the Construction Lien Act since that time. In response to a request from the Government of Ontario, Bruce Reynolds and Sharon Vogel provided a report in April 2016, entitled "Striking the Balance: Expert Review of Ontario's Construction Lien Act" and their numerous recommendations have led to Bill 142, An Act to Amend the Construction Lien Act.
